Me, Myself and I

Hi, I am Marita! Welcome to my blog! I am a Christian and a home-school graduate who loves to bake, cook, and do just about any craft with my hands. My main focus on this blog will be on living with allergies and health/beauty tips. Keep reading to learn a bit about me!

My sister Marissa and I live together in a small town house. Something we had never thought we would do. It has been such a blessing for us! 

I work part-time as a bookkeeper and part-time for a local florist. I have been working for the florist since I was 17 years old but as my allergies got worse I couldn't continue there as I had been. When I was offered to try out working as a bookkeeper for a cousin which turned out to be a wonderful opportunity. Not that it doesn't get exhausting at times being in a office everyday, but it was a childhood dream job of mine.

I am a big dreamer. I dream of getting married, being a wife and mother. I dream of being self-employed someday, though doing what I am not sure. I dream of living on a farm, living a simple, frugal, and healthy lifestyle.

I am a quiet person for the most part, but can get loud when excited with those I am close to. I mostly enjoy one-on-one conversations and try to avoid talking in groups. But....I do enjoy being around groups of people, just not to be singled out.
I love music and grew up surrounded by my musical family. My aunts, uncles and brother playing and singing, and most of all my Mom and Dad singing around the house! I play the piano and play one Sunday a month at church. I own many instruments but have never really learned to play any but the piano...maybe someday.
My posts will be just random posts, mostly about my everyday life though my hope would be to find a theme that works for me. I hope to try to post about my experiences as a single, Christian girl who is living on her own (with a sister:-P), money saving tips, living with allergies and tips on health and beauty. I enjoy trying to find comfy, modest clothing that work for me (I am 4'11'' so finding clothes can be hard!) and share what I find.
